Mystery Reader

Quinn's dad came and read the book "The Numberlys".  It was a fun book about a world with just numbers. At the end of the story, the world was much better.  Ask your child what made the world better?

Post Office

We are opening our post office, since the children wanted to write notes to each other.  Today we practiced writing a letter to a classmate.

Olivia's mom read the book "Sally Goes to the Vet", since she works at a vet office.  It was a great book.

We celebrated Olivia's birthday by singing our silly birthday song.  It was difficult to replace the letters with the long O sound.

Calendar Time

Each week we have a new calendar leaders.  The leaders asks the questions and call on students to answer them.

Witches, Witches, Witches

We read the story "The Candy Witch."  In the story, Maggie was a good witch but her family didn't notice her.  Then she decided to be a mean witch but realized that made people sad.  At the end, she was a good witch and her family noticed all the good things she did.  We made our own witches.  The children could decide to make a good witch or a mean witch.  You can ask your child what he/she made.
