Color Mixing

We used Cool Whip to mix colors.  We learned that red, yellow and blue are primary colors.  The best part was eating the purple, orange and green Cool Whip!

We have practiced sorting by color, shape and size.

Color Songs

We are learning color songs to help us read and spell the color words.  We have learned the red, yellow, green and purple songs.  A book will come home soon once we learn all the color songs.  Here is the class singing the red song.

Mystery Reader

Brandon's mom read a story about animals riding the bus for Bus Driver's Day.  If you would like to be a mystery reader or know of someone who would like to be a mystery reader, please email me and I can give you some Friday dates. You can bring 1 or 2 books to read to the class.  It usually last 10 to 15 minutes.  Thank you, Mrs. Buol. 

3rd Grade Buddies

Mrs. Joy's class is our buddy class.  Today we met our buddy and made a poster about ourselves.  We will be getting together several times throughout the year.
