These boys will help you understand our reading homework.

Mystery Reader

Brandon's mom read a story about animals riding the bus for Bus Driver's Day.  If you would like to be a mystery reader or know of someone who would like to be a mystery reader, please email me and I can give you some Friday dates. You can bring 1 or 2 books to read to the class.  It usually last 10 to 15 minutes.  Thank you, Mrs. Buol. 

3rd Grade Buddies

Mrs. Joy's class is our buddy class.  Today we met our buddy and made a poster about ourselves.  We will be getting together several times throughout the year.

Habit #7

Today we finished the last habit.  Check out your child's folder to see how much your child was following the 7 Habits today.

Meet our Counselor

Today we meet our counselor.  She is another helper at our school.

Reader's Workshop

Today we started reader's workshop.  We went on a word hunt around the school.  We talked about how we use our eyes to look, use our brain to think and read.  The class did a great job reading words like boys, girls, library and cafeteria in our school.  As you are driving in the car, encourage your child to read signs like Mc Donald's, Target or Toys R Us are just a few samples.  Here are two friends reading words in our classroom.
