We read the story Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and made our own coconut trees.

Classroom Rules

We have learned two rules and have two more to learn.  The children are making a book that will come home when we are finished to help them practice the rules at home.

Looking for the Gingerbread

We looked for the gingerbread man while learning the important places in our school.  Of course he was too fast and he just left his picture.  He also left a picture for us to decorate it.

1st Day of School

We sang a song to learn our classmates' names.

R Is for Races

We are doing a special activity each day to spell the word first for first grade.  Monday was fun in the sun.  Tuesday was ice pops.  Today was running races.  The children are already guessing for S.
