Today we worked on W.  We will finished the alphabet on Friday and have a ABC celebration on Monday.

Apple Taste Testing

Today the children ate a red, yellow and green apple.  Then they picked their favorite kind of apple.  We will make this into a class book.

Today we wrote in our journals about it being Fall.  The children drew fall pictures to go with their writing.

Talent Show Thursday

There is a note about the talent show in your child's folder.  Each child will perform a short talent for this Thursday.  Here are two friends sharing their ideas of what they can do as a talent.  Please keep it to no longer than 5 minutes.

Snap Game

If your child is working on reading popcorn words, here is a fun and easy game you could play.  You put a word down on a table.   If your child can read the word quickly, he/she keeps the word.  If your child can't read the word or makes a mistake, you keep the word.  The person with the most words wins.  Here is an example of how to play.
