Literacy Stations

This week we have been practicing our literacy stations together as a whole group.  Today we did the listening station.  Here are three friends telling us their favorite part of the story the Itsy Bitsy Spider.

Tasting

Today we learned about the sense of tasting.  We tasted something sour, salty, bitter and sweet.  The children also enjoyed a sweet cupcake treat at the end of the day.  Thank you, Isabella!

The Five Senses

We played a seeing game.  The white powder all looked alike.   It was hard to figure out what each bag had.

Cool Whip Color Mixing

The children enjoyed mixing primary colors to make new colors.  The children enjoyed eating the purple, orange and green Cool Whip.

Writer's Workshop

The children are working on telling stories by drawing pictures and writing letters or words.

Color Graph

We made a graph of our favorite color.  Then I asked the class questions about the graph.  The children are so smart.
