The Missing Number Game

Today we practiced using a number line to find out what number comes before, after or between.  The children enjoyed using their number skills by playing the missing number game.

Shake, Shake, Shake Those Beans

The children learned how to play a math game using the numbers 0-5.  The children practiced their counting skills and had fun playing the game.

Zooming to the letter Z

We are finished with the alphabet.  We have two good reader reading the Z poem today.

Here Comes Number 5

We practice writing the number 5.  We read a book about the number five.  We also came up with different ways to make the number five using yellow and blue cubes.  Here are some friends sharing how they made the number 5.

Apple Poem

We have been learning an apple poem.  Today we found "y's" in the poem, because it was the letter of the day.  Enjoy the children reading the poem!

Writer's Workshop

The children have been working hard drawing and writing teaching books.  We have two friends who finished a book.  The first book is about the sun and the second book is about flying vehicles.
