Moving on to Letter B

The children made blue B's with bees flying on the blue B.  We also discussed what parts we use to make a capital B and a lowercase b.  The children enjoyed reading the B poem and searching for B's in the poem.  Enjoy the video.

Class Rules

We have been working on our class rules.  Your child is bring home a rule book.  Please review the book with your child.  Enjoy the kiddos saying our rules.

Graphing Names

We read the story Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes.  It was about a girl who has a really long name.  We wrote and created a graph about the names in our class.

Gingerbread Hunt

We searched for the gingerbread man while taking a tour of the school.  Of course we didn't find the real one, but he left his pictures around the school.  He is such a fast and sneaky fellow!  The children enjoy a gingerbread treat and decorated their own.  Here are pictures of the children's gingerbread people.  Enjoy! 

First Day of School

The children took a play dollar home today, since it was the first day of school.  Enjoy the video of the children!
