Preview of Grandparent's Day

This week we have been working hard preparing for grandparent's day. We have been practicing songs and poems. Here are the children reciting one of the poems.

Comparing Fairy Tales

We read the stories "Teeny Tiny" by Jill Bennett and Tomie dePaola and "The Teeny Tiny Teacher" by Stephanie Calmenson. The children shared how the books were alike and different. We put our ideas on a t-chart.

Firehouse Field Trip

We had so much fun at the firehouse!  The big highlight was spraying the hose!
