We have been playing this game to help learn our number 11-20 and have good number sense.  You could even play this game at home.  You need to make a number line and two clothespins.  The number in the person's head always needs to be between the clothespins.

Breaking Apart Sounds

We practiced counting sounds in words today.  This will help us with reading and writing.

Penny

We are learning coins this week in math, since former presidents are on the coins.  I read a book about the penny.  Each child looked at a penny with a magnifying glass.  Each child has a paper book about a penny in the folder.

Mystery Reader

Major's dad braved the weather to read us two great stories, "The Three Little Minions" and "Brontorina".
