5th Grade Visitors

Hanna and Kate learned and did a project about pets.  They wanted to share what they learned.  They read a book about pets to us.  The girls are doing a display in the lobby with pictures of pets.  If you would like to send a picture of your family pet(s), please put it in your child's red folder.  I will make sure it is part of the display!

Holden's mom and read "Bears Loose Tooth and Never Ever Shout at the Zoo."  Both books were great!

100th Day of School

We had a fun day!  We made 100th day glasses and a crown.  We shared our projects.  We made a book about what we would buy if we had $100.  We did a 100 dot-to-dot.  We did 100 exercises.  We went on a number hunt in our room.  Wow, I am exhausted!

Egg Experiment

We read books and sang a song about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  We learned he helped changed many unfair laws.  We looked at eggs to see if they look different or the same inside.  Egg 1 was the white shell egg and egg 2 was the brown egg shell.

Mystery Reader

Charlotte's dad came and read the book "Where Do the Jet Planes Sleep at Night?"  He brought his helmet from when he flew planes with the Marines and Coast Guard.  The children got to try it on if they wanted to.
