Mystery Reader

Hattie's mom came and read the book Room on the Broom.  It was a great book.  Ask your child what problem happened to the broom.  Some of our friends are missing because they were with Mrs. Carson.

Today we learned most of the centers in our room.  The children picked a center to play in.  We will do this every day towards the end of our day.  I reminded the children if they didn't get their first choice today, there will be many days to play.

Who Took The Cookie

Here is a cute song we sang on Friday and Monday to learn our friends' names.  Ask your child "Who took the cookie?"  You will be surprised to hear the answer :)

Finding the Gingerbread Man

  We had so much fun looking for the gingerbread man while we learned important places in our school.  Of course, he was too fast and we never saw the real gingerbread man.  He did leave his picture for us to find throughout the school and one to decorate to take home.
