Mystery Reader

Mason H. 's grandma came from Kansas City to be our mystery reader.  She read the book "Hotel Bruce."  It was a fun book.  Ask your child if the bear was happy in the story.

Chinese New Year

Today we learned about Chinese New Year.  We worked with tangrams which is a Chinese puzzle making animals, letters and numbers. We learned what year we were born in.  We had some children born in the year of the rabbit and more children born in the year of the dragon.  The Chinese horoscope and green tangrams are in your child's folder.

These friends are playing teacher at free choice.

Valentine's Day

We had a fun day celebration.  We mailed and read valentines.  We ate yummy treats.  We had fun dancing, especially the Chicken Dance.  We played some fun games with conversation hearts.  Check out our video to you!
