Poem and Chinese New Year

Enjoy our poem.

The children have many Chinese goodies in their folders.  The children enjoyed making a dragon mask, writing numbers and counting in Chinese, hearing stories and making a red envelope.  Thanks to Selina for her help today.

PRISM Project

Check out Marin's great PRISM project.  Davis did animal expo report on Pandas.  He shared his report with the class last week and is now hanging up by the office.  Even if your child didn't do a project or report, your family can come to Concord tomorrow to the Maker's Fair from 3:30-6:00 to check out the cool projects and reports.

Groundhog's Day

Because of the 100th day of school yesterday, Phil made an appearance today at Concord.
We learned some groundhog facts, read stories about Groundhog's day, made a groundhog puppet and wrote about Groundhog's in our journals.

100th Day of School

We listened to 100th day stories, made a class book, did 100 exercises, counting to 100 by 1's, 5's and 10's, made 100 glasses, shared shirts, posters and collections, sang a 100th day of school song and went on a number hunt in the classroom.  What a fun and busy day!
