Suitcase Project

We talked about what we could bring with us on a sleepover.  The children decorated and glue the items inside their suitcases.  Then the children could decorate the suitcase.  We had some colorful and fancy suitcases.

Making 4 and 5

We found out the different ways to make four and 5 using two different colored cubes.

Pretend Sleepover

The children are enjoying sharing their books and stuffed animals with a buddy for our pretend sleepover.

Snow People

Today we made snow boys and snow girls for Winter.  Next week, we will write a how to make a snow boy/girl book.  Writing the book will begin the third unit of writer's workshop which is writing how to books.  Maybe we can make snow people in our yards on Sunday :)

Our class raised over $82 for Concord families who lost so much in the recent flooding.  Thank you!  Check out the cute hats.
