Briley's mom came and read two books to the class.  If you would like to be a mystery reader, you can email me with a date.  10:15 or 1:45 work in our schedule.

Star Leader Sharing Her Book

On Thursday, the star leader shares a book.  The child can read the book or I can read the book to the class.

Writer's Workshop Celebration

We finished our "how to" book unit in writer's workshop.  The children shared their books with classmates from our class, Mrs. Cooksey's class and Mrs. Mais' class.  Here are a few pictures I took.  The children enjoyed sharing their books.  They have been working very hard on them.

To have fun on this dreary day.  We played the game Flashlight, Flashlight.  The children practice reading popcorn words in the game.  Here is one turn of the game.
