Our reading teacher, Mrs. Carter, had her baby.  We made cards for her.  We have a new reading teacher named Mrs. Nikadem.

Being a teddy bear friend

During counseling time, the children learned about  two kinds of friends, porcupine friends and teddy bear friends.  The children learned it is much better to be a teddy bear friend.  Here are the children showing off their teddy bears.

The children had a chance to create their own addition problem.  The children did really well creating their own problems.

The children picked a partner and shared their journal with their partner.  The partner gave the child a compliment about the child's writing.
